I know this shoulg go in the target archery room but I thought I would get more replies here. I am a little late to post this.

I had a great time at the provincal archery shoot. We met up with Chris(bucknut) and it was a real pleasure to meet him. It was a VERY hard shoot. Every other shoot I have been too, at least 15 out of 20 of the shots for me are 10 yards which is a little too easy but at this shoot I never had any 10 yard shots at all. They were all fairly far. I didn’t think I was gonna win anything. I ended up getting a bronze! I was very excited. Here are some pictures.

i have been all week on our board of game issues and though i did not get all i asked for i will call it a win…

6500 square miles of unit 20c just out side of Denali National Park Griz season used to be…. Sept 1- may 31 and is NOW!!!

Aug 10- June 30 a gain of 50 days of hunting opportunity!!!!

and a another small gain in unit 20A near Denali 5 days extra on the front of the season to coincide with moose opening day.. in all 55 extra days out of the dept of fish and game and the board of game is an accomplishment on its self…

less then 17% of public proposals( in a 10 year average) go any where with the board and i got passed: two!!! of three this season:crutch:

Is there a faster way of thawing grownd venison? I hate using the microwave because it partially cooks the meat. Do you have a secret method?

Canada sqeaked past Slovakia tonight in a 3-2 victory. The canucks were leading, and pretty much controlled the game up until midway through the 3rd, then the Slovaks popped in a quick 2 goals and pressed for a 3rd goal right up until the buzzer went ending the game.

So Sunday it’ll be a rematch of Canada vs USA for the gold/silver. Here’s wishing best of luck to both teams, but quietly I’ll be cheering for the red maple leaf…..well at least on here! At home watching the game on Sunday, it’s liable to get a little noisy!

I guess the chicken I ate for lunch yesterday decided to haunt me at about 12:30 last night. I was either on the throne, or kneeling in front of it till 5 this morning. I feel wasted now, cant sleep, but at least I am able to hold some liquids down now, maybe the worst is over. I would have given anything for some phenergan. I swear when you go and eat it’s just like playing the slot machine! :hammer2:
